Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These terms apply when you use Briefly. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your account and responsible use

Keep your login details private and provide accurate account information. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian; an authorised adult must approve purchases. Do not use Briefly to break the law, infringe copyright, harass others, access another user's data, bypass limits, interfere with security or submit instructions intended to extract secrets or manipulate the service.

Study content and AI limitations

You retain your rights in content you upload. You give us permission to store and process it, including through service providers, to deliver the features you request. You must have the right to upload that material.

AI explanations, search results and practice questions can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check them against your textbook, syllabus and teacher. Briefly does not guarantee exam marks, curriculum completeness or admission outcomes. Use it as a learning aid and follow your school or exam body's academic-integrity rules. Third-party sources retain their own rights.

Plans, prices and usage

Available allowances are shown in the app before use or purchase. Free allows 5 AI requests per day. The Plus plan costs ₹249 for one month and allows 30 AI requests per day. The Pro plan costs ₹999 for one month and allows 100 AI prompts per day. Daily allowances are shared across the study features and reset at midnight UTC. Additional short-term and service-wide limits may apply to prevent abuse and manage capacity.

Plans use manual renewal: you choose whether to purchase again; we do not automatically renew these plans. Access expires on the date shown in your account. Unused daily prompts do not roll over. The checkout shows the amount payable. Payments are processed through Razorpay and access is granted after payment verification.

Failed payments and refunds

Our standard policy is no refunds for a completed purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If money is debited but payment fails, is duplicated, or paid access is missing, contact us with the order or payment reference. We will investigate with the payment provider; a failed-payment reversal is separate from a discretionary refund. Do not send full card details or a UPI PIN.

Availability and account restrictions

We may maintain, change or temporarily suspend features. We may restrict accounts for abuse, security threats, non-payment or breaches of these terms. You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account. Changes to future prices or plan allowances will be displayed before a new purchase.

Responsibility and disputes

We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for losses caused solely by reliance on unverified AI output or interruptions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Indian law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction of competent courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve an issue.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms and publish the updated date here. Material changes will be communicated where required. The terms applicable to a purchase do not remove your mandatory legal rights.
