CBSE and NCERT study help, one chapter at a time

Use Briefly alongside your school textbook to understand concepts, make flashcards and practise applying what you have learned.

Start with the right book

Choose CBSE, your class and subject, then pick your textbook and chapter in the study space. Check the edition and chapter against the book your school uses. Available titles and chapter coverage vary; selecting a class does not mean every textbook or syllabus topic is available.

Read, recall, then practise

  1. Understand: read the chapter explanation and return to the source material for unfamiliar terms or diagrams.
  2. Recall: use flashcards to answer short questions without looking at the explanation.
  3. Apply: try practice questions, compare your reasoning with the feedback, and revisit the step you missed.

You can return to saved material in your study space. Generation limits and available test options depend on your study plan.

Studying with another board or your own notes?

Briefly also accepts other curriculum selections and your own chapter material. These are separate from its NCERT library. If your exact book is unavailable, use your notes or the document explainer and verify the coverage yourself.

What to check before an exam

Use your school's current syllabus, prescribed textbook and teacher's instructions to decide what to revise. AI explanations may omit material or contain mistakes. Generated practice is not an official past paper or a prediction of the exam.

Briefly is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with CBSE or NCERT.
