AI flashcards from your study notes
Turn a chapter into focused questions. Try recalling an answer before revealing it, then spend another round on the ideas you missed.
How Briefly's flashcards work
- Create a free account and choose your board, class, subject and chapter.
- For CBSE, select the relevant NCERT textbook where available. You can also work from your own notes.
- Open the flashcards view in your study space. Briefly generates questions and answers from the study material.
- Read the question, say or write your answer, then reveal the card. Check anything uncertain against your textbook.
What makes a useful flashcard?
Keep one idea on each card. “Explain photosynthesis” asks for several ideas at once; “What is the role of chlorophyll in photosynthesis?” gives you a more specific answer to recall. Use separate cards for definitions, relationships and applications.
Example: quadratic equations
Question: What does a negative discriminant tell you about a quadratic equation with real coefficients?
Reveal the answer
It has no real roots. In b² − 4ac, a value below zero makes the square root in the quadratic formula non-real.
A short revision routine
Start with a small set from one chapter. Answer each card without reading your notes, check the explanation, and put difficult ideas aside for another attempt. Revisit them in a later session. For calculations, work through a full problem too: remembering a formula is only one part of being able to use it.
Can I use Briefly for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes flashcards within its daily AI allowance. Reading saved material does not require another generation. See the current allowances on the plans page.
Check generated answers
AI can miss context or make mistakes. Use your textbook or teacher to verify definitions, units and worked steps. Briefly is a study aid, and generated questions are not official exam papers.
