About Briefly AI
Briefly is an independent AI study platform built by a student, for students who want to understand what they are learning.
A study tool that began with an exam struggle
Ansh, a student from India and the founder of Briefly AI, was preparing for exams when he found that watching several videos about a chapter still had not helped him understand it. He looked for an AI study tool that fit his needs. When he could not find the right fit, he decided to build one himself.
Meet Ansh, the founder
Ansh built Briefly independently, learning website development and marketing as he went. Before launch, he showed an early version to his school principal and gathered feedback from teachers and students. One issue they identified was that summaries and chapter explanations sometimes drifted away from the requested topic. He revised the product to keep explanations focused on the student's selected material.
What Briefly AI helps you do
Briefly brings chapter explanations, flashcards, practice questions, flowcharts and a place to ask questions into one study space. Its current focus is CBSE and NCERT study material. Students can also upload their own notes and documents.

Built with feedback, used alongside your teachers
Teacher and student feedback helps shape Briefly. AI-generated answers can contain mistakes, so check important explanations against your textbook or with your teacher. Briefly is independent of CBSE and NCERT, and its generated practice questions are not official exam papers.
The long-term ambition is to support students around the world, including additional curricula such as IB and IGCSE. That is a future goal, not a claim of complete coverage today.
